Chris discovered this while he was cleaning the basement. The 6 year old was so excited, since he's been enjoying this on the SNES emulator on the switch.
 

They hung out together for a bit. Normally Leki leaves as soon as the little one sits down, but they were like this for a good long while today.
 

I wandered around in our survival realm, that only I appear to dip in and out of. I found a fortress so that was interesting.
 

Pokemon Snap came out last week and I've been enjoying taking all kinds of photos. I thought the 6 year old would enjoy it as well, but since you can't customize your character OR walk around it was not anything that held his interest. I, however, find it delightful.

It's been over a year since we've visited anyone and now that everyone (except the 6 year old) is vaccinated we are headed to the east side of the state!
We enjoyed some tasty food they prepared.
There was gaming together.
And building a house at the local school park. Everyone had a really good time and I am looking forward to the next visit already!
 

It's been a busy day. In the morning Quinn played through the Miitopia demo - I am surprised how much he enjoyed it.
In the afternoon we took walks, did some painting, and enjoyed the nice weather.
 

My third Genki purchase arrived today. I've enjoyed their covert dock and the bluetooth adapter. I have less uses for the shadowcast, but for the price I thought I'd snag it and check it out. I honestly thought I wouldn't get a ton of use out of the covert dock but I do, and I'm not even traveling!
 

Monster Hunter arrived today. I played a bit of Monster Hunter World, and I liked it enough I thought I'd give this new game a shot. It's on the Switch, which is my preferred console since I can move it around the house. 

All of the pet companions really sold me on the game. I really enjoyed the Palicoes in the previous game and the palmutes are adorable as well. Who doesn't want a dog you can ride around on? I mean, I totally dreamed of that as a small kid!
 

It's an evening for Mario! Jeff and Quinn have been enjoying playing Mario Maker levels they've made for each other.
 

He's been enjoying this bell blanket from Animal Crossing.

The six year old has been building Mario characters in Minecraft. this is Luigi.

We played some mario over the internet with my brother Jeff today.
 

I logged in and played a bit of Guild Wars 2, which I haven't done for ages. I have so much junk in my inventory I spent at least 30 minutes organizing things trying to figure out if stuff was worth keeping or not.
 

My brother built a cool water slide in the creative Minecraft realm we share. The little one absolutely loved it.
 

Little one has been very into Calvin and Hobbes so I started building a Hobbes sprite in our Minecraft realm that we share with Uncle Jeff.
 

We played a bith of Minecraft with Uncle Jeff today.
 

I completed a mission in Cyberpunk 2077 a few days ago and this guy has been following me around on every side mission since. I guess I appreciate the extra firepower, but it's definitely a glitch - Dum Dum shouldn't be around after the mission where you meet him. This game is a hot mess.
 

This is a super cute world in the Minecraft marketplace.

In the morning we headed out early. I raked the backyard while the 5 year old set up Stardew Valley crops with his toys. He had a ton of fun.
We played a little of Stardew Valley together in the afternoon, before syncing up with Uncle Jeff in Minecraft. Stardew is a little over the 5 year olds head (questing is still a tricky concept) but he loves wandering around on his own horse and just exploring.
